Chris Ellis is the Executive Vice President for the Distributed Infrastructure group. He leads Production, Manufacturing, and Service, and is responsible for transforming the company’s operations at its new state-of -the -art manufacturing facility. Ellis currently holds a joint patent for the PowerBlock® generation system. Ellis joined PowerSecure in 2001 when it was a small start -up company. He expanded the company’s product offerings and capabilities from single energy source systems to multi- energy source microgrids. Prior to PowerSecure, Ellis spent 11 years in the energy industry where he specialized in parallel generation, microgrid design, system troubleshooting and optimization. Chris began his career as an Electrical Equipment Specialist serving in the United States Marine Corps, and attended the United States Marine Corps Engineer School.
