Since July 2018 Dr. Michael Stadler has been the Chief Technology Officer of the San Diego based XENDEE Corporation, which he co-founded. In this position he successfully commercialized Microgrid and renewable design methodologies from the DOE Lab environment to a multi-million-dollar business that is now a world-wide leader in the Microgrid space. He was also leading the design, implementation, and operation of the first Austrian Microgrid testbed, which also serves as industry and commercialization hub for Microgrid technologies. Before that Michael Stadler had been a Staff Scientist at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, California and leading the Grid Integration Group. He is a recipient of the PECASE Award of the White House. The Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers (PECASE) is the highest honor bestowed by the U.S. government on science and engineering professionals in the early stages of their independent research careers. Michael has published more than 270 papers, journal papers, and reports to date and holds 17 copyrights/patents.
