JT Steenkamp is the Director of Projects & Technology for Mobility at Prologis, the world’s largest industrial real estate company focused on distribution centers and data centers. He is currently in the commissioning stage of the world’s largest microgrid-driven EV charging project with Socalgas and LADWP – a project which is not only Hydrogen flexible – but also built on linear generator technology from Mainspring Energy – a Stanford spin-off. Before Prologis JT spent a decade at Shell developing projects in hydro pumped storage, renewable natural gas, distributed storage, and EV charging programs, while also playing leading roles in country-level hydrogen, CCUS and fuel cell strategies.
