Rich Hepp is currently serving as Director of Business Development for the advancement of Microgrid solutions for Schneider Electric’s clients and customers. In this role he helps clients understand the economic, resilient, and sustainable benefits of applying microgrids to their locations, and assists in evaluating existing site conditions, the conceptual design, applications of different distributed energy resources, and overall system architecture.
Rich’s most recent attention has been focused the application of combined heat and power resources in the microgrid space, as well as developing on-site solutions that can be engineered and tested as a system prior to leaving the manufacturing facilities.
Beginning with Square D Company in 1987, Rich has held many positions over hie 35 year career. Some of which included NYC Construction Sales engineer, Power Monitoring and Control Systems engineer, and manager of the Eastern US for Power Monitoring & Control Systems.
