Mehdi Ganji is a dedicated and accomplished professional with over 18 years of experience in driving global sustainability projects related to energy efficiency, microgrids, smart grids, and smart cities. He is well-respected for his expertise in climate and energy science, standards, and policy, and has built successful strategies, portfolios, programs, and teams in this field. Mehdi's journey with microgrids began with the Illinois Institute of Technology microgrid and its parent project, the first-of-its-kind Bronzeville nested microgrid. He has led over 30 publicly funded microgrid projects in New York, Massachusetts, Illinois, and California. Currently, he is leading the Pacific Gas and Electric Microgrid Strategy and Vision Initiative.
