Calum is a leader in the energy sector dedicated to supporting the transition to a lower carbon future through the utilization of liquefied natural gas (LNG) and other lower carbon energies.
As the CEO of Cryopeak Energy Solutions, he established the company in 2012 to meet the increasing demand for cleaner and more competitive energy solutions for off-grid industries and communities in Canada. Under his guidance, Cryopeak has grown to be the largest small-scale LNG production and distribution company in Canada. Calum has over 25 years of experience in the energy industry. Prior to founding Cryopeak, he spent more than a decade in the international energy shipping sector with Teekay Shipping. He was responsible for new business opportunities, and advancing technologies focused on floating LNG solutions and the use of LNG as a marine fuel. Calum is from the UK, is a Professional Engineer, and holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of British Columbia. He currently resides in Vancouver, British Columbia.
