Thomas Wilson is a Renewables Engineering Manager at Duke Energy in the Energy Storage and Microgrid Engineering group with over 15 years experience in electrical engineering. He specializes in renewable energy systems, distribution planning, and distribution system protection.
Prior to joining Duke Energy, Thomas has prior experience with Oncor Electric Delivery, Siemens USA, and Lockheed Martin MFC in the utility and controls engineering fields. He holds an MSE in electrical engineering from Arizona State University and is a licensed Professional Engineer. He is a member of IEEE PES, IEEE Standards, and is an advisory member of EPRI P94.
