Jeffrey Csank is a Senior Electrical Engineer in the Power Management and Distribution Branch of the Power Systems Division at NASA’s Glenn Research Center. He earned both his Master of Science in Electrical Engineering (2007) and Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (2005) from Cleveland State University.
Mr. Csank currently serves as the Moon to Mars Power Lead, ensuring interoperability across multiple Moon to Mars programs. He is also the Power Management and Distribution (PMAD) Portfolio Lead for the Mars Campaign Office, where he oversees technology development efforts critical to future exploration missions. His work focuses on advancing PMAD technologies for the Artemis Campaign and the Mission to Mars, including enabling long-distance power transmission in space and developing planetary surface power grids.
