Kevin Blaser is the VP of Business Development at Colusa Indian Energy (CIE) leading efforts to develop impactful energy projects. CIE has project engineering and full EPC capabilities to deliver high value critical energy infrastructure and power generation projects to its clients and strategic partners. Prior to joining Colusa, Kevin was part of the Economic Development Department of the Saginaw Chippewa Indian Tribe of Michigan (SCIT) and helped setup the first Tribal electric authority in the Midwest and managed the Tribe’s interconnection to the wholesale power system. Before working for the SCIT, Kevin spent many years in the financial and capital markets industry, most notably, as Senior Portfolio Manager for a specialized asset manager in Chicago. Kevin also co-founded a consulting firm that specialized in startup business formation, strategy, capital sourcing, and commercialization of intellectual property.
