Ishan Jaithwa is a Digital infrastructure leader at the nexus of energy systems and AI demand. He built and led the AI energy infrastructure team at Amazon Web Services, enabling first-of-their-kind AI data center developments in markets such as Mississippi, Indiana among other first in kind GW scale campuses that required new approaches to power planning, interconnection, load forecasting, risk management and Contract structure innovation. His work included rapid delivery of high-capacity power to support hyperscale AI workloads, demonstrating how compute and energy supply must be co-designed. Today, he leads Data Centre & Utility practice at Cypress Creek Renewables, his focus is on solving the growing mismatch between accelerating AI-driven load growth and scalable, reliable energy supply by advancing flexible, firm power solutions and grid readiness strategies.
