Alan Escoriza is a Grid Innovation Engineer with PG&E supporting the Microgrid Design and Delivery team. He has over fourteen years of experience across the electric utility, distributed energy resources, and energy efficiency sectors and is both a licensed Professional Engineer and a certified Project Management Professional. In his role, Alan provides technical leadership for PG&E’s community microgrid portfolio, working closely with local communities, third party developers, and internal teams spanning planning, interconnection, system protection, and operations. His work focuses on advancing standardized microgrid design guidelines and technical frameworks that translate objectives into practical, resilient energy solutions for critical facilities and communities throughout the PG&E service territory.
