Alex has the lead international role at Clarke Energy for marketing and business development. Alex moved to the US in early 2022 to support the business’ growth into microgrids and hybrid power technology. Clarke Energy operates across 28 countries specializing in delivering distributed power systems with 8GW of global references. Clarke Energy has many years of experience in delivering over 0.5GW of island mode power plants in remote areas of Africa and Australia and is now moving into even more complex microgrid solutions incorporating battery energy storage systems, ultracapacitors, solar PV largely in the USA, Africa and Australia. Notable recent microgrid solution project the business has delivered include the Middletown microgrid in Connecticut and the OK Plast microgrid in Nigeria. Alex is a Council Member of the World Biogas Association and was a Founding Member of the Cogen World Coalition.
