Hassan Obeid is the Global Technical Sales Leader – New Energy Solutions at Cummins Inc., where he specializes in distributed generation, microgrid applications, and integrated energy system solutions. His expertise includes battery energy storage systems, fuel cell power platforms, advanced controls, and energy modeling—with a strong emphasis on sustainable and innovative technologies. Since joining Cummins in 2007, Hassan has served in a variety of impactful roles spanning technical advisory, design engineering, project engineering, and application engineering. He has been instrumental in designing and delivering complex power systems that integrate energy storage, hydrogen fuel cells, generator sets, transfer switches, switchgear, and microgrid controls. In addition to his engineering work, Hassan has developed and led numerous technical seminars, sharing deep insights on power systems design and deployment. Hassan holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Minnesota State University, Mankato. He is widely recognized as a strategic leader and technical innovator, committed to advancing resilient and low-carbon energy solutions around the world.
