Gianna Van Winkle is Director of Emergency Management Programs at the Florida Association of Community Health Centers (FACHC). A Florida native, she brings nearly 15 years of experience developing and leading emergency management programs for Community Health Centers. Her career began in Miami, focusing on safety and compliance at a health center and later expanded to a statewide Emergency Management role at a primary care association in New York. In 2020, Ms. Van Winkle joined FACHC, where she has guided health centers through the COVID-19 pandemic, multiple active hurricane seasons, and a wide range of emerging threats. In her current role, she oversees all-hazards training and technical assistance, situational awareness, and ongoing response and recovery efforts to ensure that health centers across Florida are prepared for and resilient in the face of crises.
