Maximiliano Ferrari is an R&D staff member at Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL), specializing in microgrid controls, power electronics, and protection for inverter-dominated distribution systems. At ORNL, he leads hardware- and controller-in-the-loop validation efforts to de-risk field demonstrations of resilient, networked microgrids.
